Thunderbolt Pose (Vajrasana) Variation

THUNDERBOLT POSE

After getting into a kneeling position, sit back on the heels.

Now cross the hands in front of the chest and cup the palms at the underarms. Thumbs point out in front. Stay that way for at least 10 breaths and feel the stress go away with every exhalation.

Reclined Bound Angle Pose (Supta Baddha Konasana)

Lie down on your back in Savasana. Take the soles of the feet together, knees out to the side. Take your arms up overhead and take each elbow with opposite hands. Stay for a period of time that feels comfortable. When you’re ready to come out, move slowly.

Child’s Pose (Balasana)

Starting from your hands and knees, take the sit-bones back over the heels and your hands out in front of you. Slowly fold your torso forward until your eyebrow center rests on the mat.

Keep your big toes touching, either have the knees together or separate the knees wider than your hips. Rest your arm alongside the body, palms up. Stay for at least 10 breaths and let go as much as you can with every exhale.

Standing Forward Fold (Uttanasana)

In this pose, you have to concentrate and focus the mind to a single point.

Take feet hip-width apart, arms wide. Bring the right arm over the left.

Bend the elbows and bring the palms together. Now shift the weight to the four corners of the right foot and bend the knees a little bit. Lift the left thigh up and over the right thigh. Now bring your hips down while maintaining a straight back. See you if breath effortlessly.

Eagle Pose (Garudasana)
